Twelfth Night and another Irene Ryan nomination
I began my second year at Taylor as Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. The role brought another Irene Ryan nomination—a meaningful encouragement as I continue learning the craft.
Looking back on a full first year
My first year at Taylor included Dromio of Syracuse in The Boys from Syracuse and Peter Pan, Pied Piper, and the voice and puppetry of Ugly Duckling in Shrek the Musical. Honors included an Irene Ryan Scholarship nomination, Best Actor Male for The Boys from Syracuse, and first place at the Indiana state and regional NATS Musical Theatre competitions in the Freshman Men division. I’m thankful for the teachers, collaborators, and stories that made it a year of growth.
